Caring Beyond Boundaries
Created in October-December of 2024, this project explored the practical application of AI throughout an entire video production pipeline, from initial concept to final delivery. Using ChatGPT-4o as a strategic partner and project coordinator, the workflow integrated cutting-edge generative AI tools including Runway Gen-3, LumaLabs Dream Machine, Suno, and ElevenLabs alongside traditional creative software. The experiment revealed both the transformative potential and current limitations of AI in creative production—demonstrating how AI can accelerate ideation, streamline workflows, and enable previously impossible creative concepts, while also identifying key areas where human creativity and traditional tools remain essential.
Key Findings
- Using an LLM with long-term memory as a creative assistant has greater impact than simply using AI apps for individual tasks
- Gen AI tools excel at rapid concept testing and creating custom scenes unavailable through stock footage, but still have limitations with human anatomy, continuity, and scene length
